Dear Stranger

Today stranger, I want to tell you that even though we do not know each other well, I need you to know that you are worthy. It’s common for tumblees (tumblr users) to send cute little messages informing others of their extraordinary beauty. I won’t be one of them. Instead I’ll exceed those norms. I hope you find someone that uplifts you above the horizons of life and loves you as though his/her breath never differed from your own. I hope you find happiness of your own before finding that significant other. I hope you find that happiness within yourself by discovering your innate skills and passions. Tonight I remembered these hopes of mine, these hopes that I have for you as well…So stranger, my motto in life is to diffuse all the negativity with a  spontaneity lifestyle, with daily humor nourishment, and positive productivity. I don’t know you. I may never meet you, but I wish the best for you.

Washington state Rep. Maureen Walsh participates in a marriage debate…Just watch her speech.

tomorrow political leaders in st. petersburg, russia are going to vote on a law that will prohibit speaking in public about being gay, lesbian, bisexual, or transgender. russia is already a very dangerous place to be openly gay, lesbian, bisexual, or transgender and the situation is obviously not getting better as of now. pride marchers were attacked and detained by Moscow police last year simply for holding their heads up high in public.
this bill could spread nationwide in russia unless you help raise awareness. reblog and please click the picture and follow the link to sign the petition against it, we only need about 20,000 more signatures.

tamellia: We are slowly having reforms in the United States. I know that these reforms are not yet satisfactory to the LGBT community, but let us be thankful for the success we have had these years (and the recent success with ruling Prop 8 as unconstitutional in California). Celebrate and continue to fight, but also be aware that we have better circumstances than other nations around the world. Re-blog and sign the petition. Take a Stand and support Russia.
